Freight Forwarding Forklift Operator

We are seeking qualified candidates to perform forklift and freight forwarding job duties in a fast paced environment. 

Our plant is 5 minutes to Rigaud, 10 minutes to Hawkesbury, 30 minutes from Vaudreuil-Dorion, 50 minutes from Decarie Blvrd. Montreal. 

We provide free bus transportation from several Montreal metro stations to and from our plant in St-Eugene, Ontario.

 

You are licenced to operate battery powered sit-down and stand-up forklifts and your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring correct packaging supplies are available and pulled based on packout information
  • Move packaged material from production line to warehouse
  • Verify package markings and labels with customers' original instructions
  • Ensure products are secured on pallets and store them in designated warehouse location
  • Inspect pallets to ensure no damage or issues.
  • Load customer van trailers
  • Verify that special loading instructions are followed
  • Complete all necessary inventory and loading paperwork
