Skotidakis BBQ-Grilled Burgers or Kefta Skewers

  • 1 kg ground lamb
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 125 ml cilantro, chopped
  • 75 ml parsley, chopped
  • 30 ml mint, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cumin, ground
  • 450 ml bread crumbs (4 slices, crumbled)
  • 3 eggs
  • Skotidakis Tzatziki (to taste)


Finely chop the onion and set aside. Chop the mint, parsley and cilantro. Drizzle the bread crumbs with water, and press down to remove excess water. In a mixing bowl, mix together ingredients until smooth. Salt and pepper. Make burger patties or small balls for your skewers. Grill on BBQ. Serve with Skotidakis Tzatziki.
